Woodpecker is based in Leicestershire and specialise in all aspects of tree work from pruning fruit trees to reducing or felling large roadside trees.
Oliver Bates established the company in 1998 after studying arboriculture and horticulture at Brooksby College. Chris Wright joined Woodpecker in 2000 and studied arboriculture at Moulton College.
Woodpecker work throughout the midlands and operate in teams of three and have a range of vehicles and equipment. All Staff are fully trained and are NPTC chainsaw qualified. We work to BS3998 and are fully insured up to 5 million pounds.
The environment and recycling are a priority, woodchips are supplied for biomass fuel and timber processed into logs for fuel. We comply with the government waste regulations and hold a waste carriers license.
