What are the requirements for being listed in our FREE package?

Answer
Your business listing must display a regional land line phone number and a full business address within our catchment area, which (for FREE listsings) includes the Harborough district and North Northamptonshire villages located within 6 miles of Market Harborough. PO box numbers are accepted. Paid listings allow businesses which are based outside of the catchment area to advertise.

Please provide; a carefully written introduction to the products and services that your business offers, hours of business, car parking information.

All listing submissions are moderated by us to ensure that the quality of listings is high for our visitors, therefore we only accept carefully written submissions, e.g a listing written in uppercase will not be accepted.

How do I get my organisation listed?

Answer

  1. First create your personal user account – click here for the registration page.
  2. Once you have your user login details return to the website, click ” Login Now ” (top right) and then select “Advertising Packages” in the main menu.
  3. Select your listing type.
  4. Complete the form to create and submit your listing.

How do I edit my submitted listing/s?

Answer

1. Please login – (top-right on the website) you can also login here.
2. Choose ‘My Account’ from the main navigation menu.
3. Choose ‘Listings’, and edit away!

My business is based outside of South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire, can I still have a listing or advertise?

Answer
Yes, via any of our paid / enhabced packages. 

Question
There is already a listing for my organisation, how do I take control?

Answer
Create a user account, then login and choose “Claim Listing” from your listing page.

Question
Can I add a link to my website from marketharborough.com?

Answer
Yes, website links are permitted in paid listings and also in free listings (when a reciprocal link is provided from your website back to ours).

Question 
I’m interested in promoting my company further with a paid listing but I don’t have a banner image to upload.

Answer
No problem, our in-house designer creates one free promotional banner for you per year.

Question
What are the requirements for offers.

Answer
Your offer must be a special offer e.g. a price reduction or bonus relating to your products and services offered, and each offer can run for a period of 1 month only.
