121 Dog Training is a family run company with a qualified and certified trainer and behaviourist JJ Barrs. We specialise in pet dog training and run 121 sessions, classes for all levels, home visits and behavioural consultations, puppy head start meetings, socialisation, and specialist training such as in the preparation of your wedding day and doggy duties.

Our sister company Knots’n’Tangles is a fabulous home setting groomer and pet sitter and Walker, between us there isn’t much we can’t do for your furry family member.

1-2-1 Training Session – Time for Your Pet

The Dog Training 1-2-1 is a private training session to tackle a struggle in training such as:

• Walking nicely on the lead.
• Coming back when called.
• Jumping up.
• Doggy greetings.
• General obedience.
• Food Manners
• Nipping
• Puppy training private sessions

These sessions take place at our venue Leicestershire Show Ground depending on the topics to cover. During the session, I hope to give you the skills you require to tackle the issues you are facing and ensure you leave with more understanding and continue to build on your dog’s reliability in training.

Behaviour Consulting – Personalized and Professional

​Help with difficult behaviours that would require a behavioural assessment further help and guidance such as (but not limited to) phobias & fears, aggression towards other dogs or humans, if you are expecting a baby or getting another puppy or pet and need help in getting your dog to adjust, food pinching, nipping, guarding behaviours, hyperactivity, or separation anxiety.

Puppy Head Start – Accommodating Your Lifestyle

Just about to get a puppy or have one already but its vaccinations are not yet complete or your puppy is under 6 months old? this could be an option for you…

We would come to your home, help set you up for a puppy ready house and talk about all the puppy basics to get you stepping off on the right foot. You can expect to learn about the following:
