What a massive let down! Just long queues for absolutely everything, toilets, fairground tokens and nasty junk food. Such a wait inbetween displays, with nothing to do except spend more money on expensive rides or food. We didn’t bother, left early and picked up chips on the way home, at a non rip off price. Such a boring event.
Went, left after a few hours.
A total waste for £20 each.
If you like sitting in a field watching a few skydivers then great.
Utter garbage
No traffic management for the event resulting in issues for residents on the private Gartree Estate. Multiple vehicles driving through the estate at speed and threats of physical violence and damage to property when residents requested people attending the event turned around and took the public highway instead. Complaint had to be made to the police eventually as couldn’t contact the event team. Next time you run an event, have a little respect for local residents – better still, take a leaf from previous events books who have provided signage at both ends of the road and marshalls to prevent event attendees from using the estate as a short cut.
A complete lack of respect for the residents of gartree. No signs to indicate that welland avenue is private land- we’ve had cars driving through the estate at speed all day and a near miss with a local child. Next time you organise an event make sure you put up adequate signs showing that this is not a short cut between lubenham and the show ground. Other events ha e done it.
