Wingates Gallery – Meet the Artist exhibition

Wingates Gallery is staging a one-day ‘Meet the Artist’ exhibition event at its Market Harborough gallery, where artists Simon Wright and Allan Morgan will be meeting fans of their work.

Customers can book a 30-minute slot with Allan or Simon between 12 noon and 4pm on Sunday 27 February at the gallery on St Mary’s Road.

Gallery owner Andrew Cartwright, who runs the business with his wife Kathryn, said: “Allan is a British landscape artist whose stunning work is inspired by the countryside on his doorstep at his home on the Welsh/Herefordshire border. His clever use of light and depth enable him to create beautiful and original paintings which are highly collected and admired.

“Simon, meanwhile, is a very talented cityscape artist who started his career as an illustrator but channelled his skills into fine art, where he combines the two styles using a mixture of acrylic and oil. People love his vibrant and textured contemporary work and customers who book a place will get to browse his latest collection.”
