Angela Stienne - Book Signing and Talk

Join us in the main village hall on Wednesday 7th June at 6:30pm to meet museum researcher and author Angela Stienne for a talk and book signing to celebrate the 1st anniversary of the publication of her book Mummified. Angela is also the founder of Mummy Stories and The Lyme Museum.

This book takes a look at the morals and ethics (or lack thereof) behind the acquisition and display of mummified bodies and human remains in England and France, and the controversial and unsettling past this uncovers. Whilst being informative and unbiased, Angela takes us on a journey that not only probes into historical fact, but investigates what it is to be human.

Copies of Mummified will be available to buy on the day for £20 or you can pre-order a copy with your ticket. Tickets are £3 per person, pre-booking is essential due to capacity restrictions.
