I would like to correct some inaccuracies. With regard to the hotels we used on this holiday, the three main hotels we stayed at were clearly listed in the 2021 holiday brochure, including the Muthu Royal at Thurso. We do not list the hotels for the two overnight stops on the outward and return journeys, of which the Muthu Glasgow River was one, other than the approximate area they will be in, as these are arranged closer to the dates of travel. There was therefore no change to any accommodation we advertised.
In addition, the holiday was run exactly according to the itinerary in the 2021 holiday brochure, with the exception of the Pitlochry stop. This was changed as we felt it was not the best place to have a break in light of the travelling distance on that particular day, and would have meant that on departure from Pitlochry, there would have been a non-stop journey of 3.5 hours to our next visit. As this was only ever intended to be a 45 minute coffee / comfort break, we decided to arrange a complimentary coffee stop at a hotel, at our expense, a little further in the journey to make it more comfortable for all passengers.
