St Dionysius Church

Built-in the 13th century and named after St Dionysius the Areopagite, the church has been a centre of worship and local life for over 700 years.

The church is best known for its impressive 152-foot spire, a striking feature that dominates the town’s skyline. This spire, added in the 14th century, is a beautiful example of the Decorated Gothic style and a source of pride for locals.
