Our story

In 1994, three young brokers (and a dog) took their destinies into their own hands and created an insurance brokerage with independence, employee ownership and clients’ needs at the front of mind.
Since then, Howden has grown into a multinational business but remains true to the same approach that has won us long-standing clients, some of the best talent in the industry, and even a few awards for our cabinet.
