FarrinHeight Foods was born way back in February 2007 out of our love of cooking vegetarian food and the lack of places to eat out in Harborough for veggie diners. We began hosting regular vegetarian & vegan pop up dining nights in Joules Yard & Eating House just off the High Street and were known then as The Greenhouse Vegetarian Restaurant.
In 2013 we changed the name of the business to FarrinHeight Foods – an apt amalgamation of our surnames: Farrington & Height – and began trading at farmers markets in and around the Harborough District. This lead to invitations to attend local food & craft fairs, small music festivals and community events, and opened the door to us selling street food.
In October 2014 a selection of our more popular products became available online through edibLE16 an online shopping site for local food and drink producers
In June 2015 both of us went vegan, and so naturally FarrinHeight Foods went completely vegan too.
In 2017 we catered for two fully vegan weddings
We’re anticipating another good year to come with 2018 seeing us continue to host our popular monthly Supper Club nights in the Jubilee Hall, continuing with our many regular fairs and festivals, and with our stall in Harborough’s town centre twice a month (1st & 3rd Thursdays). We have also added new events to our ever busy schedule taking vegan food to places folk might not expect to find it!
