Step into a rousing celebration of brass as The Melton Band takes to the festival stage.
Founded around 1814, this remarkable ensemble is believed to be one of the oldest brass bands in the world and more than two centuries on, it’s still going strong in Melton Mowbray. Regular competitors in the Fourth Section contest circuit, The Melton Band pairs precision and tradition with a crowd-pleasing spirit. All delivered with the warmth, power and unmistakable thrill of live brass.
A heritage act with a contemporary spark, don’t miss them.
