Join award-winning artist, reportage illustrator and TED Fellow George Butler for a powerful in-conversation event exploring how his humanitarian approach to art has transformed the way global crises are both seen and understood.
From war-torn Syria – where he worked as a guest of the Free Syrian Army – to the Kharkiv Metro, sketching civilians sheltering underground from Russian bombardment, Butler uses pen, ink, and watercolour to reveal intimate stories of resilience by slowing down and going deeper than the headlines.
