Profile
From the organisers:
Join us at the saleroom between now and April 5th for a selling exhibition of original artworks by well-known local artist Franklyn J Scott.
Locally Frank’s name has become synonymous with depictions of town life in Market Harborough throughout the 1990s, many of which can be found in homes and businesses throughout the district.
We’re delighted to have 28 original artworks and numerous prints on display, including four of his most renowned works available to acquire – Market Day, The Old Town Hall, Lunchtime – The Square, and Welland Park Tearooms.
A proportion of the proceeds from the exhibition will be donated by the artist to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Visitors can also enter a raffle to win a limited edition print of Scott’s landscape of St Mary in Arden at night. Postcards are also available of Frank’s most popular Market Harborough works, with all of their sale proceeds going to Macmillan.
