“Kneecap,” set in West Belfast in 2019, follows the journey of disillusioned music teacher JJ and two self-proclaimed ‘low life scum,’ Naoise and Liam Og, who revolutionize Irish music. Forming the rap group Kneecap, they blend their tough, anarchic lives with the Irish language, creating a unique sound.

As their fame grows, they face challenges from police, paramilitaries, and politicians while dealing with internal family and relationship struggles.

Their story, filled with humor, sex, drugs, and hip-hop, highlights the fight for cultural preservation and civil rights through their rebellious music.
