In 1930s Paris, Madeleine, a pretty, young penniless and talentless actress, is accused of murdering a famous producer. Helped by her best friend Pauline, a young unemployed lawyer, she is acquitted on the grounds of self-defence. A new life of fame and success begins, until the truth comes out.

Double bill with a French style buffet.

We are showing two highly rated films together with a French style buffet.
The first one (The Crime Is Mine) starts at 5.45 pm. This is then followed by a French style buffet including French cheese, pate, quiche French bread and a glass of wine. The second film (Rose) is a Danish film but most of the dialogue is in French and will start at 8.30 pm. The ticket price is £17. This is a members’ only event and includes both films, the buffet and wine. People can come just for the buffet and the second film if they prefer.

Please note that there is a maximum limit of 50 people as we are limited by the seating for the buffet.
