Join acclaimed artist Yinka Shonibare CBE RA for an insightful discussion exploring the themes that shape his work. In conversation with Eva Langret, Director of Frieze London, he will reflect on cultural identity, race and class within the context of globalisation. His work unpacks the complex relationship between Africa and Europe, questioning historical narratives and national identities.

The discussion will also highlight Shonibare’s commitment to ecology, from the environmental impact of colonisation to the sustainability initiatives of his Guest Artist Space (G.A.S.) Foundation in Nigeria, fostering artistic exchange and food security for future generations.
