From the organisers….
Due to the continuous rain and bad weather forecasted for this week we unfortunately will postpone this event. The village green is too soggy and muddy with all the rain we’ve had so it will be too slippy to race safely. The pancake race will now be on Sunday 15th March, starting at 12 midday. Hopefully with better weather! We hope to see you then for some pancake flipping racing fun, face painting and cakes! Sorry for any inconvenience.
The Annual Great Bowden Pancake Race!
Sunday 1st March at 12 noon on the village Green. NOW Sun 15th MarchCome and join us for our family fun pancake flipping relay around the green.*Free to enter with a prize for the winning team!
- Teams of 4
- Bring your own team frying pan
- Pancakes provided for the race
- We will also have a cake stall and face painting!
