“The Great British High Street Competition showed how the very smallest retailers are getting it right and using digital technology to make the most of changing consumer habits, and I want to see others following their example.â€
“It doesn’t need to be complicated or require huge investment. It can be as simple as getting their shop’s details online, or promoting a special offer on social media to encourage people to pop down and visit,†he said.
