Whatever your type of dog, whatever its type of coat, it will need grooming, ideally on a regular basis. The method used depends on your dog’s coat. What works for one type of dog may not work for another.

All staff at Grrs 2 Purrs are highly experienced in grooming all types of dogs and we will know the best way to keep your pooch looking (and feeling) super dapper. When it comes to removing excess hair or fur, we’ll often use clippers and/or scissors. But for dogs with wiry coats (for example border terriers), it is far better to use hand stripping. This is a grooming process that involves removing dead and excess hair from the coat by hand instead of clipping. We will advise you upfront should hand stripping be necessary.

Our dog groomers are all fully trained and experienced and use only professional-grade salon equipment. We provide a full range of dog grooming services including:

Pet Sitting and Home Visits
We will visit your home to feed and water your pet and make sure they are toileted. We can change litter trays, clean out cages, let the cat in or out and even have a little play (and chat of course). All types of pets are welcome including dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and reptiles.

In addition, we offer a professional pet sitting service to look after your pets while you’re out.

We use specialist software to help us manage our busy schedule and to provide you with an efficient, reliable service.
