A lifelong friendship, with the battle scars to prove it is the unbreakable backbone Venus Cow is built on, an unusual name that came about whilst Shirley (right) was life coaching, “You’re a Venus Cow” the lady suffering with depression said, “What do you mean?” said Shirley, “A beautiful woman” came the response and so the company got it’s name.

A brand out of reach for most Shirley wanted to bring the same sensibility and focus on quality to everyone, by only using the very best fabrics available to make clothes that could endure not just a few wears but be enjoyed over years.

We all know styling activewear for the street, work, etc is not as easy as all the athletic performance brands would have you think. The beauty of all our pieces, made from the finest British cotton, is they are “active fashion” but don’t fight with your ordinary clothes making it easy to style your athleisure look using the best of your existing wardrobe, and bring your Ready To Wear back to life in a whole new way.

ETHICAL & TRANSPARENT
We know if it’s not disclosed it’s usually not great, so we are open and transparent about where our fabrics come from and who’s making your clothes and we are committed to using recycled, compostable and biodegradable packaging. As a small brand we are not completely there yet but are working towards the goals, SDG2020 put forward by the United Nations.
