Profile
Making Sustainable Shopping Mainstream
The Village is a new venue featuring carefully selected small local businesses, each with an individual focus on sustainability. We are working to establish an alternative to the supermarket: a place where you can enjoy your weekly shop with the reassurance of knowing that the goods on offer will be as low impact as possible. Visiting us for your weekly shop will help you reduce your impact on the planet in a friendly, convenient and hassle-free environment.
We believe in supporting choice and encouraging small changes. We hope that by providing a welcoming environment for learning and debate, real change will happen. This is why we will be hosting events, courses and discussions at our communal table.
We are really proud to provide an outlet for some wonderful businesses including Waterloo Cottage Farm, Andy Pearman fruit and veg’, Dozy Dog pet supplies, Proganic milk vending machine, Pudding Corner (by Sarah Ruth Cakes), Windowsill indoor plants and Refill Revolution. We are also delighted that “The Cafe at the EcoVillage”, will be run by “The Cafe at Welland Park”.
Come along to shop, enjoy a coffee and a cake in our community space, or register to attend one of our events, courses or debates.
We are based behind Kwik Fit on St Mary’s Road in Market Harborough close to the Market Square and the train station.
Limited customer parking is available on-site and there is ample parking less than 40 metres away.
