Well Roasted Coffee

Roasting coffee in celebration of flavour! We are a local artisan coffee roastery called Well Roasted Coffee based in the Welland Valley, just outside of Market Harborough, on the border of Northamptonshire and Leicestershire. We hand roast in small batches interesting and ethically sourced coffee beans from around the ‘Coffee Belt’ of the globe, aiming to retain the main characteristics of single origin Arabica beans and to enhance them with delicate roasting.

We supply freshly roasted coffee as whole beans or freshly ground to cafe’s, farm shops, garden centres, golf courses, delis, gastropubs, restaurants, local businesses and direct to customer. We currently have 6 house espresso blends, and 14 single origin Arabicas, as well as cold brew coffee, each with their own individual and unique flavour notes.

If you love coffee, and especially freshly roasted coffee, we have some really special coffees carefully sourced from Latin America (Brazil, Guatemala, Colombia, Honduras, Peru, Costa Rica, Mexico), Indonesia (Sumatra, Papua New Guinea, Timor Leste) and Africa (Kenya AA, Ethiopia, Uganda). Our Mexican coffee is farmed solely by indigenous women farmers, and we also have a Fairtrade Organic decaffeinated coffee for anyone who needs to avoid caffeine but loves good coffee. We also sell our green coffee beans for at home roasters.

You will find a selection of coffee makers in our shop for all brewing methods, including Aeropress, Dripper, Moka/Stove Pot, French Press/Cafetiere and Cold Brew, as well as artisan coffee gift sets for all occasions. We also offer group or individual Barista training.

For wholesale customers we provide a complete range of products for Business 2 Business. With our working partners we can supply: Commercial Coffee Machines and Equipment, Financial packages – Lease Purchase, Lease Hire, Rental, Service and Maintenance contracts, Equipment and Barista training, Consultation and Project Management.

We freshly roast to order every week! By joining our coffee community, you can be confident that not only are you shopping locally and reducing airmiles, but crucially you are supporting coffee workers and their communities, from all around the world. Our coffee can be ordered online and delivered directly to you or collected from our roastery. We also offer free local delivery within a 5-mile radius of the roastery. You can even pop in for a coffee at the roastery if you are passing, please do just check we are there first in case we are out delivering.
