George Halls Cycle Centre has been servicing the needs of cyclists far and wide since the mid-1970s. Neil Holman, the current owner has been at the shop since 1985.
Neil, one of the founder members of CATS mountain bike club, is very active in the local cycling scene. He currently is the series Co-ordinator for one of Great Britain’s oldest mountain bike cross country series. The Friday Night Summer Series (FNSS) and is an active committee member for the Harborough Wheels Project.
We stock over 200 bicycles at any one time, ranging from 3 wheeled tricycles for children as young an 18 months to full-on competition sports bike or mountain bikes.
Lately, we have built up a thriving BMX scene, stocking BMXs from such companies as; Blank, Diamondback, FITBIKECO, GT, Haro, Mongoose, United & Wethepeople.
Children’s bicycles from; Bumper, Dawes, & Raleigh. Adult bicycles from Claud Butler, Dawes, Merida, Mongoose, Orbea & Raleigh
Clothing & Components; from Altura, Ashima, Bell, Camelbak, Campagnolo, Cateye, Giro, Hayes, Mavic, Oakley, Shimano, SRAM, Zefal
More recently, we have built an online shop 247cycleshop.com to service the worldwide needs for the bicycle spares market, listing all those hard to find parts.

Excellent service from George Halls Cycle centre and Neil Holman. Thanks to him, I was able to get the small part for Campagnolo RD shipped to India.
The packaging and documentation details for customs clearance was very good.
If you need to source a part for your trusty steed Neil has an incredible wealth of knowledge. I have had a few wheels ‘Built By Neil’ (they get a sticker with this wording) over the years, they are all still going strong. Please note that George Halls is in an old building with a lot of character, this makes it easy to overlook that there are two upstairs showrooms which are full of bikes. Thanks for all the great service over the years – keep up the good work Neil and Co.
