Profile
Camping: We accept tents and small motorhomes (under 6m in length), & we will accept small caravans but you need to check the size with us first. With a mix of electric and non-electric pitches, all suited for tents, family tents or small motorhomes & vintage vans.
Glamping options: Our large safari tents are another option, with real beds, you just bring your linen & camping gear. The safari tents offer larger accommodation to camp in more style, with additional living space, dining table, chairs, rattan sofa & chairs etc. There’s electricity in the safari tents!
The hospitality trolley includes a kettle, mini fridge, veranda furniture, fire pit, and picnic table.
Dogs: Well-behaved dogs are welcome on site but regret, not in glamping units, (dogs must be on leads when on-site at all times & must never be off the lead and walked off-site, please check the T&Cs for breeds).
Wedding Venue
Rural Relaxing – Exclusive weddings with our own tipis which are perfect for a smaller wedding, party or other celebration. The tipis come with the site exclusively with accommodation for up to 90 guests or for larger events (max 120 guests) we can work with a range of partners for additional structures. Catering providers we work with can provide you with quotes. We don’t produce any “in house” food for events/weddings etc., it is all outsourced.
Whether it’s a wedding, a party or if you would just like an exclusive camping weekend for your friends and family you can have exclusive use of this beautiful corner of Leicestershire countryside. Additional marquees or tipi structures can be hired in for larger functions, ours is perfect for smaller events, seating up to 90 guests.
Location: Not much disturbs the peace here in Medbourne apart from the babbling brook or blackbird song, the Nevill Arms is back open and serving lovely gastro food. For pub grub, seek out The Fox at Hallaton. The village shop & Post Office sells essential items including home-baked bread, milk, eggs, bacon, sausages, newspapers etc. and you are assured of a warm welcome here.
The village boasts much historical architecture too and a walk round is worth it, there are some lovely walks (seek out the Blaston track, a field road from Medbourne to Blaston, perfect for dog walking & is a great “off-road” cycle track, or walk the hill up to Nevill Holt and be inspired with the incredible views over the valley. It’s a special place with much to offer & you won’t be disappointed.
