This is a compelling look at a woman who was both a celebrated artist and a Nazi propagandist, and how she navigated the aftermath of World War. It explores Leni Riefenstahl’s life and work, highlighting her controversial role as a Nazi propagandist and the ethical complexities surrounding her influential documentaries and legacy.

This documentary uses private films, photos, recordings and letters from Riefenstahl’s estate to trace the continued influence of her work today and examines her life after the fall of Nazism. She remained unapologetic and tried to shape and manage her legacy.
