Hit by a blizzard, a grief-stricken woman, travelling alone, gets lost among backroads near a lake in snowbound northern Minnesota. She stops for help at a remote cabin in the woods and interrupts the kidnapping of a teenage girl by a desperate couple, who are armed and intent on murder. Isolated and hours from the nearest town and with no phone signal, she realises that she is the young girl’s only hope of survival.
