What are the requirements for being listed in our FREE package?

Answer
Your business listing must display a full business address (and ideally with a regional landline number) within our catchment area, which (for FREE listings) includes the Harborough district and North Northamptonshire villages located within 6 miles of Market Harborough. PO box numbers are accepted. Paid listings allow businesses which are based outside of the catchment area to advertise.

Please provide; a carefully written introduction to the products and services that your business offers, why it should be considered by a customer, hours of business and parking information.

All listing submissions are moderated by us to ensure that the quality of listings is high for our visitors, therefore we only accept carefully written submissions, e.g. a listing written in uppercase will not be accepted.

How do I get my organisation listed?

Answer

  1. First, create your personal user account – click here for the registration page.
  2. Once you have your user login details, return to the website, click ” Login Now ” (top-right) and then select “Advertising Packages” in the main menu.
  3. Select your listing type.
  4. Complete the form to create and submit your listing.

How do I edit my listing/s?

Answer

1. Please login – (top-right on the website. under ‘My Account’) you can also login here.
2. Visit your page (use the ‘Search’ option to find it).
3. Then use the ‘Edit’ option in the right column.
4. Click ‘Submit listing’ at the bottom to publish the updates.

How do I upgrade my package?

Answer

1. Please login – (top-right on the website) you can also login here.
2. Visit the page for your listing, searching for your business may be the simplest.
3. Then choose ‘Upgrade’ which is located under the ‘Send Enquiry’ button.
4. On the next page, choose your desired package. Review your listing details and ’Submit listing’, then at the bottom of the following page you can choose ‘Pay Now’ and enter your payment details.

My business is based outside of South Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire, can I still have a listing or advertise?

Answer
Yes, via any of our paid packages.

Question
There is already a listing for my organisation, how do I take control?

Answer
Create a user account, then login and choose “Claim Listing” from your listing page.

Question
Can I add a link to my website and social media accounts from marketharborough.com?

Answer
Yes, website and social media links are permitted in both free and paid listings.

Question 
I’m interested in promoting my company further with a paid listing but I don’t have a banner image to upload.

Answer
No problem, our in-house designer creates one free promotional banner for you per year.

Question
What are the requirements for offers?

Answer
Your offer must be a special offer e.g. a price reduction or bonus relating to your products and services offered, and each offer can run for 1 month only.
